The Hillcrest Concert Band is back at work preparing the repertoire for our 2026 summer concert season!  To celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary, the band will present music by American composers, including Aaron Copland, Charles Ives, Samuel Barber, Morton Gould, John Philip Sousa, Scott Joplin, Dave Brubeck and many others.  In addition to concert band favorites, there will be big band jazz, classic movie music, music from the circus, patriotic favorites, and some surprises!  The HCB will also present the world premier of concert band pieces by Northeast Ohio composers Dana Westfield and Julie Stern.

The 2026 summer season kicks off on May 26 at 7:00 pm on the lawn at the Garfield Nartional Historic site in Mentor.  The band has 15 concerts scheduled (so far!) at various venues in the Greater Cleveland area, including our annual 4th of July concert in Lyndhurst Park.  Please see the “Concerts” tab for details and our latest 2026 concert schedule.   Admission is free to all concerts.
